I just found out that I have been officially inducted into the Krewe of Iris for Mardi Gras. Iris is the largest and oldest womens only Krewe in New Orleans . I am sooo excited! On Saturday, February 26 I will be throwing beads to gajillions of people for 3.5 hours on one of the largest and longest days of Mardi Gras (next to Fat Tuesday). I am ( Read more... )

would you be coming alone or with a friend? i could get you a room near ours if you are bringing someone. otherwise, maybe we can find a roommie for you if we have some single girls coming along or if we end up with a larger room than normal (we room w/ jenny, the initial krewe of iris girl/my realtor/my friend) you could stay w/ us! i would love for you to see! so much fun!
