But my curiosity goes towards "lip". Is it easily infected? Does it hurt a lot? How easy is it to take care of it during the healing stage? How many miles to the gallon would I get with that thing? Does it like mitochondria?
Seeing as I currently have a piece of metal in my mouth I can tell you what its like.
You will have a thick permanent scar. The first 3 months its bipolar, pain, and swelling on the inside of your lip and out. Then its fine, then it swells. You have to carry mouthwash with you and use it every 2 hourssss.
plus im not sure if it would look too good on you. where would you get it?
0 miles to a gallon, and no. it doesnt like mitochondria

After reading this I don't know why anyone would ever want to get their lip pierced. Ever. "Mucus, swelling, pain"...Doesn't sound like my bag.

i was just browsing, and came across this entry...
tongue piercings are gross. dirty, perverted people get them. and anyone with tongue piercings are associated with them. not good.
ear piercings are great. they go with any personality.
lip piercings are fine, but you have to wear it right. if you get one, don't mess with it a lot. that annoys people.
and they are easy to upkeep. i used to have mine pierced. i'm sure you'll be given instuctions on how to keep it clean, but basically, anytime you put anything but water or ice in your mouth, you need to rinse. it's imperative that you follow through for the whole heeling process so you don't scar funny, or get it infected. and you also have to salt-water soak a couple times a day.
ehhh... the end :]
