One of the child car seat companies was like that. I called after a friend gave me a handmedown to ask if the seat was expired (nope) and how I could order a new clip, since mine had broken (after the friend gave it to us). They just sent us the clip. It's not only smart because they satisfied a customer but because if we had used the seat with the broken clip anyway and my child was injured in an accident, no one would note our fault but rather the brand of the "failed" seat.

good stuff. But in this economic era, it's nice to see companies invest the dollar or two for shipping costs in customer goodwill (which is its own form of advertising) instead of an opportunity to generate income. That old saw about "penny-wise and pound-foolish" comes to mind, and it's always nice to see companies who don't fall for that nonsense.

BTW, you didn't plug the brand of car seat ;)

Oooh, the ChicoBags look good. I have an Onya Bag, which seems pretty similar, and I love it: so much better than the bulkier bags they sell at the grocery stores.
