I promised a covenmate I'd post the recipe for this to our group blog after the last potluck I brought it to. Since I'm about to bring it to the next one ;) I figured I'd better get around to posting it there, and here since that's a simple copy & paste

ha ha I knew guilting you into using (saving) those amazing apples of yours would pay off. I am envious though; mine aren't half as good. You have something special there.

between sauce and slices, I think I processed close to 20lb of apples over and above what you did. There could have been more, but I simply ran out of wherewithal to deal with them.

Wish I were there to take some more off your hands. We devoured the frozen applesauce we brought back with us. So so good.

oh, I've got no shortage of covenmates willing to take the processed and cooked apples off my hands. Apparently I need a bigger casserole dish, as not everyone got some tonight ;) darthfrog was disappointed there weren't any leftovers when I came home :)
