I know how that feels. I frequently drove the stretch of multi-level freeway in Oakland that pancaked in the 1989 Loma Prieta quake, and often at just about that time of day.

I don't believe I've been on that stretch of I-94. East of Marshall, though, yes.

And for the Nth time, a major crash there within a week of when I've passed through. I'm headed through there tomorrow.

Safety tip: In whiteout snow conditions, slow down until you can see where you're going...
