In unrelated to arrested development news MSN dating advice has this to say about what NOT to do on a first date:

oh man... i have to post what he wrote in the last email to me... so freaking corny!!!

he lists the things he wants in an apartment
then he goes on about things we can do when we meet up... A STROLL ON THE BEACH WAS ON THE LIST
