The Man from Mars was a very interesting read. In the story, we are presented with a girl who is insecure, has low-self esteem and is searching desperately for a way to try to fit in. I have just read your live journal entry and I completely agree with you. I also believe that Christine’s true emotions are hidden. This might be to create a mystical element to her character or maybe to suggest that she is a really shallow person. Not sure, but that’s just a pretty negative idea. I was also very dissatisfied with the ending. Nothing really happens. It just sort of ends. I want to know who this guy was. It is a very frustrating ending.
