Poor LiveJournal. Everyone has left you for Facebook :( (and I'm only posting here knowing that it'll get magically imported as a FB note

Dude. That's horrible. I couldn't feel more sorry for you having to spend your birthday in the dentist's chair. OMG and I called you at midnight. I'm such a prat. I'll have to come down soon to make it up to you. I love you so much. I'm so sorry all that shit happened.
That's frigging awful. There is nothing like dental pain, something I know something about. I was worried for much of your tale that you'd be suffering from an abscess, needing a total removal of said tooth and a replacement (implant or bridge), which bites the big one. Er, so to speak. Still, root canals are ugly and crowns fall off, and it's all just way too goddamned expensive.
I almost want to suggest that you go Spookie's way and high tail it to Thailand for the cheap work. At least that way you'd get a trip out of the deal.
just had the same thing happen two days ago...shooting th Novocain through the hole as well. I can't even afford a root canal so I;m going on a $68 patch job and just not eating till I can afford it..lol...
They don't make it easy. On Facebook, click on profile. Just under the status update box there should be a link "Options". Click that to reveal a link "Settings". Click that and you'll find, among other things, a list of sites that Facebook can import updates from. There's not a specific one for LJ so I used the RSS feed for my journal with the Blog/RSS importer.
Don't ask me why this can't be found in the normal settings area.
Cool, thanks. Unfortunately it seems that you can import only one feed, so I chose my tech blog. I suppose I could aggregate LJ to that, or that to LJ, first. But if I wanted to do that, I already would have.
