After the Doctor had pulled all of the wires out of the lift controls, tried every trick in the book to get the damn thing moving, and still had no response, he turned around and took in his companions. They had to be of some use, no doubt. Even if it was just for the purposes of yelling really loudly for attention.

"Next time I'll take the stairs," the grumpy blond boy behind him muttered, "I should have known better than to trust a metal box that goes up and down."

"Really," the girl on the other side of the lift said. She was American, the Doctor noted. And ... he thought peppy might have been the appropriate term. Ahhh I miss playing with you regularly :(! I miss playing the Doctor off Kanda and Ganymede off Fuuma too. I am not sure if we have a sudden schedule allergy or what. We'll work on it ♥!

And, yes. To an extent. There's not much that's new from Ten's run, but Eleven enjoyed that Kanda took the regeneration in his stride instead of freaking out, especially considering he hadn't really talked to Kanda about it in advance. He's always pleased when he's pleasantly surprised by people, and Kanda is often that person. And he'd like to help Kanda with his nightmares in any way he could :|b so yes, head spelunking is plausible.
