We put our 12 year old dog, George, to sleep on Friday morning. It was pretty traumatic. "Putting it to sleep" is not the right phrase. It was much more archaic than what I was expecting. It was necessary though because he was in pain.

So here's to George Grant, a beloved dog.

I had a cat once who was born in 1980 and died in 96.
