Project Runway -- NO SPOILERS
I'm really looking forward to tonight's show!! I can't decide if I want Emilio or Seth Aaron to win. I've really liked a lot of Seth Aaron's designs, but I also like Emilio. If either wins, I'll be a happy camper. I just wish they had kicked Mila off last week, but hopefully she'll end up losing.
We'll see what happens!! -
"Departures" -- Movie Review (No Spoilers) 5 STARS
I saw a recommendation for this film on Netflix. One of those, "If you liked X, Y and Z, we think you'll like A". It looked interesting and I'd never heard of it (and didn't know that it had earned an Oscar in 2009 for Best Foreign Film until after I finished watching it) and figured I give it a try.

Another Hero Leaves the Stage
Part of me always wanted to BE Julia Sugarbaker. Or at least to be able ONCE to have her command of the English language when I was caught in a situation that stunned me.
No one else could have played her. Rest in Peace, Dixie Carter.

Undercover Boss?
Anyone out there watch the show? It NEVER fails to get me teary-eyed. I'm a big wimp anyway, but for some reason this show ALWAYS gets to me. It's total propaganda, but I love it anyway. -
"Arena"
I'm sitting here watching Kirk fight the lizard-like Gorn on Star Trek. I've probably seen this episode 20 times (if not more) and yet, I'm STILL leaning forward with tension waiting for Kirk to figure out what to do next.
Giggle.
I can't decide if that just reinforces my geekiness or makes me a loser! -

It SUCKS to be the Mom....
I usually handle crisis well and then fall apart later. Today, I'm not sure that sitting in the vet's waiting room whilst awaiting test results was "later", but at least they were very nice to me. And the news seems to be good, so I'll keep being hopeful.
