More page-turning adrenalised action from Tom Wood, with Victor this time round engaged in a spot of close protection duty in London. Didn't quite hit the mark for me - Greg Rucka's Atticus Kodiak books and Robert Crais' "The Sentry" set high benchmarks for this sort of tale. Kudos though for the cheeky name drop of a leading Labour politician (who, should the May election go their way, would have to explain the carnage wreaked across the capital in this book to the House.)
