This is totally appropos of nothing at all, but I would just like to echo pirateygoodness's thoughts that in the few moments I caught of the Bionic Woman last night that Sackhoff's boobs were both distracting and virtually immobile. I was talking to my mom and saying, "Look, Mom. There's Starbuck." ANd she just looked up at the screen and then back down at her

I like to keep it familiar. Heh.

I'm in the middle of a pre-series GG fic, but it's floundering a bit while I figure out where exactly I'm going with it.

Mine have both been pre-series and I think I'm getting a pretty okay grip on the history if you want some insight. I'm no expert but if you need another opinion.

And I also want to write a truth or dare fic - though by that, I mean I'd rather someone else do it so I can read it.

Hehe. I hinted more of the same in fembuck's LJ and it'll be interesting to see who comes up big. I think it would be crazy fun to write but so far my stuff has been more slow-paced and introspective so I don't know if I can even do funny/salacious GG.

Do you watch Bionic Woman?

I flip to it when Gossip Girl is on commercial. Frankly, any seen with Katee Sackhoff in it is dynamic and usually hilarious. Anything else is kind of boring and has less of a sense of humor.

There is a loooot of good TV out right now. It makes my life tough.

So far, it's a series of scenes that happen leading up to how/why Serena leaves. I haven't read any of the books, so I'm making up my own version based on how Bleighton portray Waldsen

Mmm. I'd love some kind of explanation. I left it very vague in my fic cause I just can't even imagine. I'd love to see another perspective on it.

What I like about the show as opposed to the books is that there is more freedom and the chemistry between Bleighton is so much more than the show could've hoped for.

Agreed. I kind of had half a mind to write something from Lily's POV about her own issues and she would kind of tackle what Blair and Serena were like as youngsters but I don't have a clue where I would post that.

It's more dialogue than narrative - the narrative is something I loved about your fics, and I'm just trying to do something different that still works.I'd love to write more dialogue driven fics but I kind of think it's not my calling

They are totally throwing out lines from the Starbuck play book and it's only Katee's force of will and impeccable comic timing and crazy eyes that are keeping this train moving.

That's pretty much my investment too.

Because they're GOING THE WRONG WAY in the series. They should have waited a year for BSG to end, made the story awesome-er and hired Katee. And maybe if Katee hadn't had all that free time from BSG, the Boobs of Steel wouldn't be an issue.
