Interesting. And thanks for responding.

I had kind of the opposite experience. Not in terms of me being wild, but just in terms of the environs. I'm from a relatively small town but I went to the Catholic private high school which has a well-deserved reputation as a school where the kids drink a lot. And I think it reflects that their parents drink a hell of a lot. And the ease of getting alcohol was basically criminal.

Just thought it would be interesting to hear about others' experiences.

Would you say it was because you just didn't have any interest, or opportunity?

I mean, believe me I'm not judging anybody and I don't think it makes you any cooler to have drank in high school.

I'm just genuinely curious now :)

Gotcha.

I didn't know you played volleyball. I didn't play that sport because I am a wuss and it hurts my wrists.

I didn't drink at all in high school. Mostly just because I was never terribly popular so didn't go to parties, and I was friends with other nerdy/geeky kids who didn't drink either. Probably a good thing; I don't think alcohol would've been a good thing for me to discover at that age.

Definitely a good thing.

It's really probably not for the best to give kids in the midst of massive hormone changes access to something that loosens inhibition.

Definitely not for the best.

Thanks for your opinion. I kind of feel like I'm doing a sociology experiment.
