She is damned distracting. Particularly when she's being a hot mess.
I'm notoriously bad at divining meaning from the always misleading promos, and I might have gotten Chuck and Dan's inexplicably growly voices mixed up. But it seemed like Jenny spilled about Nate confessing his curiously un-preambled feelings to her as pseudo-Serena and then it kind of looked like they were implying Dan/Blair out of spite and I thought it was Dan saying something like, I need to tell you something. Presumably to S?
I don't know. I need to be slapped. I had a couple of drinks during GG so I could be completely missing the point :)
I love that with every Waldsen icon, there's a little grace period where you just have to sit and admire it.
Dude, Nate *is* pretty but he's also vapid and vacillating and there's nothing I like less in a boy.
And besides, it's not as though he's the only attractive person on the show. I mean really, if you want to spite your onscreen significant other, this is the place to do it!
And his sudden blurting of his feelings after only sitting on the couch with Serena? pfft. Although, she was in a negligee and flimsy robe so who knows what madeness that could inspire?
*pouts* My damn conection it have been acting lazy since yesterday and still I haven't seen the episode! *cries* Stupid conection. At least thanks to BitComet, I saw the Waldsen moment at the beggining and I can't say how much I love them. Blair looked so...I don't know, relaxed and at ease around Serena. Love the fact that she was playing the best friend and was pushing Serena to invite Dan to the party. Though Serena looked like "Dan? who is...Ooooo right. Dan". Also I want to see the whole Rufus/Lily/Bart thing. Because yeah Lily...Bart?
Waldsen!yay was all over the place in that first scene. I agree, Blair trying to take care of her girl and her reaction when Dan hurt Serena's feelings was made of awesome.
Bart sucks. Seriously, Rufus is 10 x more attractive.
Rufus is HOT, personally I like him way more than all the other guys on the show. Second place Dan, but Rufus is my guy :) BTW I hear something about a waldsen fic?! yay! Love that this show bring so much love to fiction. i mean, if I wasn't so bad at that I'd do one myself, that's for sure. I better stay on the icon-making.
