i should write. i really should. i really want to write. i wanna write about how quickly life changes. how, sometimes, it's the monumental ones that sneak up on you and clobber you over the head before you realize he doesn't love you. how, sometimes, it's the can't-take-it-back ones that topple you over and take your incredulous breath away.

Maggie Kim, the show might be free (check link), rocker, chanteuse, folksie at times, bright, creative, good looking (lol), currently in France via NYC via Philly. I met her at singing at a festival in NYC a number of years back. Very, very bright, simplicity and generous in person.
May 6th in your city.

PS: Went to a show for the first time in 2 years now (wow, I'm an old head... lol). Ladytron @ 930 Club. The Faint opened for them. Faint was fantastic and danceable. LT new stuff was played a bit too strong through the sound system and they had technical problems in the middle so it cut the rhythem of the show. Their 'older' stuff is still good. Check them out if they go your way.
Just go alone and discover something new.
