I can't see that happening for a while.

My pre-operative assesment for the general anesthetic is tomorrow. The general is for the Cystoscopy in which ill have a camera put inside my bladder. There's also some other lovely stuff that's gonna go on at the same time

I know, it's craziness. It's a bad reflection on our society that we have doctors who are too overworked / underpaid to spend time or effort on something that isn't solvable immediately by surgery or drugs.

I know what you mean about being tired of trivial shit - after some of the things some of my friends have been through in the last few years I've become a far less tolerant person. Sorry to hear you have this hanging over you - I hope you get the best possible outcome Jamie.
