My life + college went KABLOOEY in nasty ways all over me (moving house + classes + random people visiting + working out all the details of being trans in college = lots of work). I'll probably be done with one of my two fics by Monday, but unless the muse whacks me heavily on the head and I ignore my homework for a bit, it's doubtful I'll have both up. Is it okay to post a bit later?

Things have been kind of hectic here too lately.... a couple more days to polish things up would be very nice if that would be acceptable. Should have them finished up by Friday at the latest.

You're welcome to post your fic after the official deadline, so Friday won't be a problem.

Three questions for you:

1) I see that it is okay to post late, however my story is in the beta process right now. Is the 15th the official last day to post, or today, the 14th?

2) Since it is NC-17, is it necessary for me to lock the fic? If so, I do that in the journal edit?

3) After the story is uploaded, do you assign an author tag?

Hi, sorry this is a little late - ignore me in case you've posted already :).

1) 15th would have been the last official day to post.

2) You don't need to lock the fic no matter which rating.

3) The mods will assign author, pairing and type (fic or art) tags.

I think I'm going to have to break down and ask for an extension on the Ot3 prompt. I at least tried to get away with posting it a day late, but as you can see that didn't happen. I tried to write it along with the other one before the deadline but sleep deprivation is getting in the way. I really don't like having to admit it. Symptom of empathizing with House about thinking something's a weakness?

It's okay, you can post whenever you're done with the story, as long as it's before the start of round 4. :)
