'Nother mistake: Calcutta was founded in the 17th century by the British. I seem to recall actually having another city in mind when drawing this, but being unable to remember the name of it, and so 'Calcutta' was a guess. Later I looked it up and went "aw, crap."
Seeing the last panel, some people assumed that the Emperor was giving Rylede Broat's head on a platter. Actually, that would have been kind of awesome.
