Apparently some people were angry that Broat didn't get some kind of horrible comeuppance. Honestly, since they left him alive, I couldn't imagine him just sitting around the monastery for the rest of his life. He'd find some way to weasel into a cushy spot.
Other people were upset that Sir Gerard and Oneder weren't mentioned in the epilogue. I'd figured their fates were taken care of... Sir Gerard has his property to look after, Oneder went back to Spain, and they both lived Happily Ever After. I am occasionally tempted to draw something in which Sir Gerard and family take a turn visiting Asher for the holidays, but I've never gotten around to it.
