(no subject)
this past weekend i headed home to fort walton beach to kick off thanksgiving early. i decided to try and document as much of the trip as i could. here's what i've got so far!
me on the drive home.
it was such a pretty day out! cool and clear.
i brought refreshments. the soy chips were awful.
i passed a swamp.
and saw some interesting clouds.
the next day i went with phil to the Paper Moon to watch the Ohio State/Michigan game. drinks were 2 for 1 if you wore ohio state gear, so phil borrowed a hat from the owner. we enjoyed some newcastle and hoeegarden, and i learned the ohio state fight song! it was fun.

the same night i went bowling with rachael, christine, and phil. i scored a 48. then we went to the karaoke bar. christine sang some queen. i for some reason started talking about dionne warwick and how large her nostrils are. i demonstrated by sticking my fingers in my own to enlarge them. then we took a picture. rachael just looks retarded. and check out how large phil's hand looks on my wrist!

rachael then stole an apple out of my purse.
and passed it around for everyone to enjoy.
but i think she enjoyed it most.
phil appears to be growing angry with the fruit.

now that my hair is darker, we actually look like we could be related.
two other members of the family. lucy looks slightly stressed, and minnie is looking quite devilish.
i tried on a really old jacket of my mom's that had HUGE shoulder pads. it made me look like frankenstein!
we headed out to Indianola, this new condo development where my parents bought 2 units. they just finished building them, so we went to check it out. Indianola is a horrible name....but there used to be a hotel in the same spot called Indianola, they even kept some of the old steps on the Indian mound.
we checked out the one on the bottom floor first.

we got home and saw that lucy had gotten into a very large bag of food.
shame shame! if she wants her head to appear in proportion to her body, she's going to have to quit that kind of behavior!

lucy got a manicure.
and minnie stared at the opposum outside. we feed an outdoor stray cat, BBK, and the food is attracting strangers. i named her Alberta.
today we packed up the van and drove to tallahassee. we're breaking up our trip to boynton beach to see my grandparents into two parts. we look like hobos in this picture. those are my belongings in the trashbag.

while i took pictures with lucy. she's so photogenic.
once minnie was let out of her cage, they hung out.
tomorrow starts the second leg of the journey....we head out at 6am! i'm going to try my best to continue to document the holiday.
