In ancient times this was viewed as a prime point in the year to arrange winter lodgings and marriages, and over time became a very popular time to schedule handfastings and other ceremonies. Anyone feeling particularly romantic, I wonder?

Then you're fortunate. I have not asked for anyone to officiate new marriages.

Dancing naked under the moon?

EWWWWWWWWWWW!

The nudity was always completely optional, of course.

But even if you're not naked, you'd still have to see someone ELSE naked, and that's gross!

I would be happy to lend whatever help you need - at least, I can provide food, and music. All the highest festivals of my homeland would take place at around this time of year.

I'm delighted to hear that. If you don't mind my asking, what were their significance?

I don't mind at all. My people's strength is drawn from the sun; in the height of summer, we are at our most powerful. Sadly, many of those festivals which had once celebrated our culture and the passion and will of our people had come to mark only our military strength, while painting our neighbours as its deserving victims. Some of those more...positive elements remain, however.

Well, count me in as a volunteer.

And my inmate. Would that be all right? I'll work with him. [He's going to get you to socialize Slick. Determined to.]

Feel free. It's a party, after all. Anyone should be able to come and go as they wish.
