I would suggest that the spells I cast in my room have been taking their desired effect if the apparitions are now banging on the doors to get in, but that seems to be a common phenomenon around the Barge. Has touches of the 'evil eye' to it, or rather persons that use that sort of magic to their advantage. They're generally a type, you see. Troublemakers. Bridge burners. It's deliberate, and tangible. Nothing does that without expressly wanting to be noticed, and having sense enough to want to be noticed, so if I had to hazard to guess anything, then it's that whoever is walking around in the hallways at night is either immensely enjoying the ride or directly tied to whatever is responsible for this.
