Paris is one of those cities that goes on the major lists when people get to talking about famous places they want to see before they die -- even if they're not all that fond of the French. I'm surprised by how friendly everyone is. Despite a disaster on their landmark, everyone is remarkably optimistic.

The whole of the city is quite impressive, but I do have the agree on the tower. It's a pity. I would have liked to see it, and I don't think I'll have another opportunity to be here in Paris.
