Paris is one of those cities that goes on the major lists when people get to talking about famous places they want to see before they die -- even if they're not all that fond of the French. I'm...admittedly a little disappointed to see that the Eiffel Tower seems to be missing, but there's plenty more to appreciate. Despite what might be assumed

I'm surprised by how friendly everyone is. Despite a disaster on their landmark, everyone is remarkably optimistic.

The whole of the city is quite impressive, but I do have the agree on the tower. It's a pity. I would have liked to see it, and I don't think I'll have another opportunity to be here in Paris.
