This was wonderful!! And Chris is so adorable anyways. I think Jack would definitely find him delightful. XD Very well written! You wrote awkward, young Chris's voice so well, and Jack was excellently Jack-like. Well done.

It's hard not to come out of Life on Mars without loving Chris a bit, I think. Leaving him in the room with Jack just seemed like something that needed to happen. :)

Thanks for the compliment!

Bit of a shame I missed him, I suppose. *chuckles*

Then again, you know, time travel...

This is fantastic! Is it bad that in general, my reaction to Chris is wanting to pinch his cheeks?

ALSO: Oh, You Pretty Things is going in a Master/Doctor mix I'm making. It is obvs an AWESOME song.

No. Chris is amazing, and must be showered with all manner of unsettling affection. Mwa ha!

And you're right, it's an amazing song. And really good thematically for a Doctor/Master! Esp. the bits about the sky ripping open, and the coming race, and homo superior, etc. :)

I KNOW. I was listening to it and I was like "Is there any way in which this is not the perfect song?"

Ooo hot...Jack was perfect, the whole hero/anti-hero but still really lonely.

Yeah, he's very much fronting his confidence to Chris, who notices some pain but really doesn't have the skills or understanding to interact with it.

The fact that they're both pretty lonely probably helps, too.
