It took him a few months to really get into the swing of it, but ever since then he's been badgering me to start couponing as well. For a long time I kind of made fun of him,

I read it all. :D I'm going to see what I can do to help my family out. You know we could use the money. It would be even cooler if I could do it at the commissary because their prices are already around half price of Wal-Mart or Kroger. Their meat prices, anyway. If I could buy my meat from there and everything else with coupons, that would save a LOT.

I'm by no means an expert, but if you have questions I'm more than happy to answer them! I actually linked the Kroger site thinking of you, because I think they're near you? The woman who runs the sites lives in GA. But just reading the blog every day helps a lot, she usually does a Q&A once a week or so, too. ♥!

The Sunday paper is nice for extras and the occasional thing that is paper-only, but a lot of the coupons in the paper are also available to print somewhere online. That's why the site is so ridiculously helpful to me, because she links to all of the available coupons for every product that's on sale in the ad... so 95% of your research time is done for you.

Orange juice is 2 for $6 at Publix nearly every week but they rotate through the brands. Two of the brands I like, and I go through a little less than 2 jugs a week, so I can generally always arrange it so that I never have to buy oj at full price. Also, ketchup is always buy-one-get-one before the big summer holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day), so I buy a TON of ketchup then, knowing it can last me all year if I just stock up. So I do fairly well on a few items! ;)
