[Mai's outside the supermarket. While her house does have enough to make do with, she'd rather proper ingredients. She's checking her ingredients list when she sees Shizuru. I'm assuming Natsuki and Mashiro gave her at least a kind-of heads up, but she smiles anyway, and lifts her hand in a wave.]

Kagutsuchi did seem to be one of the more powerful Childs, so it would make sense that whoever's responsible for this would want to alter Mai's mind--but it also means she might have the power to do it. A dilemma.
