I got over my perilous case of traveler`s bug, it was weird because I woke up in the middle of the night feeling fine like it had all been a dream. This city makes me cough and it makes me struggle for breath after I go up a flight of stairs. 1. Interview fatigue is good... it means people are telling you the same stuff over and over and you're getting to conclusions!
2. I didn't discuss Dutch disease in the economic sense, but I did meet a Dutch tourist with a cold (really).
3. The slums are like that in Peru too-- they just go on forever.
4. I've noticed that dogs breed like mad everywhere very poor people live. Sachs should address THAT demographic problem.
5. There is a box of coca tea in my suitcase. Take that, customs.
6. I think we'll have a lot to talk about when we get back SO SOON!
7. After we see Atonement.

1) what is with six million dutch tourists backpacking across south america? I literally have not met another perons from the united states.
2) i want myself to shut up but i still have another week of interviews to go
3) you are so bad!
4) we definitely have a lot to talk about, including dogs
5) I can´t wait to get back to boston and see atonement and donse and be in snow and live in a (flood-damaged) dorm room again
6) andean crafts are great.
