I'm settling into my new job. I work as a receptionist/office assistant in an office of about 30 people, and the dynamic is quite unlike anything I've experienced before. It kind of reminds me of "The Office." I don't think anyone ever actually does work, they just wander around and get into dumb arguments about butterscotch versus tapioca

Wouldn't the fact that it's in an office make it white collar? I tend to think of blue collar New England more as my firefighter and carpenter's union leader uncles arguing about Puerto Ricans XD
