DETAILS: First and foremost, Cliffjumper takes after his name. He's prone to diving in without thinking, and without help, despite the odds. He's got the skills to get him out of whatever scrape he charges into, and he knows this. In fact, some might even go far enough to call him overconfident. Cocky, even.
On top of being reckless and cocky, he's stubborn like you wouldn't believe. Once he's set his mind on something, he will not be moved. Come hell or high water or a small army of Decepticon drones, he will stick to his proverbial guns.
He also loves a challenge. In his spare time, he's been known to bend Cardinal Autobot Rule Number One by terrorizing the local police a little just for the sake of livening things up.
All of this might make him seem unpleasant, but he's really not. He can be quite friendly, almost easygoing sometimes. His friends always come first, and he will do his damnedest to help them if he can- sometimes even against their wishes. If he has to, he'll risk his own life for the sake of those he cares about. With the right guidance, he has his rare moments of practicality, as well. He even has the capacity for stealth- which is impressive because he's a big bot- he just chooses not to use it.

DETAILS: Cliffjumper's starter. The first thing he did upon meeting his new trainer was challenge him to a wrestling match of sorts. Cliff fought right back, and eventually was victorious. Rebel conceded victory with a newfound respect for his trainer. He's a lot like his trainer in many ways- heardheaded, impulsive, loyal and stubborn to a fault. Ironically, it's Ironhide's Onix, Napalm, who constantly keeps him out of trouble. She's a favorite sparring partner of Rebel's, and he would protect her with his life just as he would his trainer.

DETAILS: A leftover egg from the Easter Egg Hunt in the National Park. Received on 4/25. All Spark, this bug is a diva. She has a real ability for bravery and can be quite the fighter, but she will give you all sorts of attitude in the process. Easily the most aloof of all of Cliff's pokémon, she prefers to watch their antics from a distance rather than get involved herself- though she is secretly amused by and fond of the whole team.

DETAILS: Found in his bag as an egg on the morning of 4/24. Rascal certainly lives up to his name. No matter how big he gets, he always acts like a puppy. Cliff kind of enjoys, and even encourages his playfulness. He's seen plenty of humans with their dogs before, and now he understands why they like them so much. He seems perfectly content being a puppy forever, and doesn't want to evolve. Cliff is okay with that.

DETAILS: Specter, or Specs as Cliff calls him, is a little... clingy. Cliff found him in a dark, lonely little corner of Sprout Tower, and he only really fought out of being startled. He's inseparable from his trainer, and is desperate to prove himself, spurred by a deep fear of being abandoned. After the Shedinja began stealing peoples' souls, Specter was Cliff's only means of fighting the bug/ghost type pokémon. With his trainer's instance that he was the only one that could fight the Shedinja, Specter's confidence and bravery improved greatly, though he is still shy.

DETAILS: As a Wooper, Tagalong started, well, tagging along after Cliffjumper and Ironhide while they were on their way from Violet to Azalea. She is utterly fearless, and latched onto Ironhide's Onix immediately, though Ironhide would have nothing to do with her. It was Cliff who warmed up to her, amused more than annoyed by her antics, even if he had no intention of catching her. That all changed, however, when she followed them into Union Cave and saved Cliff's aft from a rampaging wild Onix. He couldn't very well leave her behind after that.

DETAILS: Inherited from Lottie when she left Johto. Cordon is a major flirt and an insufferable show-off, but Cliffjumper has a soft spot for the pokémon, and not just because he used to belong to a dear friend. When he's not trying to impress anyone who cares to watch, Cordon spends most of his time annoying Ironhide. Cliff keeps trying to warn him that the big Autobot isn't above punching a pokémon in the face, but Cordon seems to enjoy testing the limits of the old man's patience.
