Mushroom Samba
Slippy was sitting in a field, reading. He looked up from his textbook to and to his delight saw Fox, Falco and Peppy in the distant. His face lit up as he waved toward them.
"Hi guys!" he called out in excitement. He stood up and ran toward them. "Hey Peppy, I didn't know you were gonna visit us today!" He kept running but it seemed his teammates were getting farther away. "Come on guys, wait up! Don't leave me behind!"
The three stopped and looked at him. "What do you think we're trying to do?" Falco spat as Fox and Peppy gave Slippy furious glares. "You've been nothing but one headache for us!"
Slippy stopped dead in his tracks and stared dumbfounded. "What?"
"You've been nothing but trouble since you joined the team," Peppy sighed in exasperation. "You always mess everything up and we have to save you out of every jam you're in."
Slippy's upper lip quivered. This couldn't be happening. These were his teammates, his friends. They didn't really think he was that big of a problem, did they. "I'm sorry," he said apologetically. "But I've been tryin' real hard to be better. That's why I even enrolled here. So I could be more helpful."
"Helpful!?" Fox hissed. "Getting in trouble all the time? Keeping secrets from us? Letting Star Wolf, wanted criminals in the school without telling us!?"
Slippy sniffled as tears began to rolled down his cheeks. "I'm sorry. I wanted... I didn't want to bother you guys anymore. I wanted to fix everything myself."
The look on his teammates' faces became more reviled. Fox marched closer toward the frog, his expression growing more angry. He open his mouth wide and yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Dam dam dam dam! Dam dam DAM!"
Slippy looked up and tilted his head. "...Huh?"
Falco rolled his eyes and shook his head in disbelief. "Blu blu blu blu blu! Blu blu!"
Slippy was no longer crying he was just confused now. "I don't know what you're sayin'."
Peppy sighed and called the others with a "Waee Waee. Waee Waee." The three turned away from Slippy and left.
"Wait! Come back!" Slippy called out as he ran after them. "At least repeat that in English!" He chased after his teammates.
(Those not affected by the shrooms will see Slippy chasing a cockroach down the commons room)
