tonight was mom's 'birthday', and all of us combined couldn't manage to ruin it. minus michael and andrew of course, who are conveniently tucked away at their respective summer programs. my parents went to a movie tonight - together - for the first time since i can remember, and for the first time in just as long, i found myself home alone. wine- ( Read more... )

Tell your mom I say"happy birthday"! anfblondeaznjm June 27 2005, 09:42:44 UTC
That's kind of how I felt this one time a few summers ago when my mother, my father, and I went downtown to get my passport processed. (They both needed to be there to sign it, or something) And then we all went out to breakfast. I seriously think it's one of the few times if not the only time since my brothers were born thatI've been alone with both of them at the same time.

Also, I might be spending the night at your house tonight if I end up seeing ayal and he drives me back to the valley. I wouldn't get there until kind of late though, is that cool?

but of course. and you'll have to give me the full update on who exactly is living in your house. bryan and thomas and i (remember the guys from harvard/ucla) drove past it the other night to see if we could catch any action.. all bryan had to say was,

'yeah, i could imagine a pizza guy walking up to that door.'

haha, i guess i was focusing too much on the pizza-man visual to catch who prompted it. work is so long because it's actually a part of The Man's plot to suck the life out of us and prepare us for child-rearing. in my case at least.
