Last month I found myself at Bushwick's Eastern District gallery with my buddy Tom to see the latest Poster Boy exhibit. In talking with the curator about our favorite subway ad mashups, it eventually came out that April 25th 2009 would be a day of reckoning. The haterade was further spiked by my inability to get any of my camera's film clips of the escapade to so much as even import into iMovie on my buddy's brand new MacBook. And I was only doing that because I assumed iMovie would work better than any garbage Windows video-editing shareware.

When I got my new work laptop last week, I noticed Windoze XP now comes bundled with something called "Windows Movie Maker" (looks like a shareware thingy M$FT bought out on a whim).

I did the music video above in 2 hours with it, with zero problems importing MPEG camera clips (which are Apple's own goddamned video standard, fer chrissakes) into a WMV centric universe and having it all sync up.

Maybe iGod was smiting me for painting over one of its ads, however temporarily.
