time for post I suppose. Sometimes, Oxford is lonely as fuck. It is sort of shocking entering/creating a new social network, especially one where anything but small talk is inhibited by the problem of multi-linguality. You can't always wax intellectual with Swedes, Italians, French, Columbians, Cantonese, etc, where English is a second language

haha, actually, let me say that I am studying IN oxford, not AT oxford university.

its ok i had to look up on wikipedia to make sure that oxford university was in oxford so i didnt feel like a complete dumbass
