So. Incredibly. Hot.

This was amazing. I love that we have no idea what either of them is actually saying during the conversation that precedes the erotic interlude - it's all about the body language and Cain's awareness of how it resembles a dance. It mirrors the way we fans often watch a scene, and it's beautifully done.

And I particularly love this line and its placement: She thought, briefly, that it was comforting to know from the start that this woman intended to see her dead.

*big huge grin* Thank you so much! The style of this story just sort of ... happened; I'm not sure at what point I decided that it should only have one line of dialogue but as soon as the thought crossed my mind I knew that was how it should be.

And I love that you pointed out that particular line, because that's one that I was particularly happy with, so that makes me grin. :D

Ahahaha... I'm supposed to be updating femslash_today, not reading what I'm adding, but with this one I just couldn't help it! There's normally a little too much anger in Roslin/Cain fics to make them enjoyable in the fun sense, but this one is hot - I really like!

I enjoyed the contrast you emphasized between Cain's physicality and Roslin's frailty -- kinda butch-femme! it added another layer to their parity of confidence and power, which is the great draw of this pairing. It was beautiful how meticulously observant Cain was, really a treat for the reader.

So, after reading your Kara/Laura epic saga of hottage, the discovery that you’d written Laura/Cain quite made my day. And then, after starting both, (I read like, a handful of words of each) it quickly dawned on me that after these two I would have nothing left to read. Nothing, by way of your particular brand of Laura/Cain in any case, and, in my most brilliant display of will power (whining pathetically and pouring out of my seat and stomping out of my room to go get a cold drink) I intended to save such delights for later. Now is later.

And I promised myself, tonight, I would only read one. And I’m blaming you for why I broke that promise. Okay well, you and spending a whole day watching season 2 of 24 and clawing my own thighs to shreds ( ... )
