A while ago I posted that a big accomplishment of mine last year was having a successful first term at Hartford. I bucked up, changed my acquired study habits, and completed ALL my homework in non-last minute form. As a result, I pulled a 3.73 GPA. Hard work pays off. And yes, once you get into a routine, you don't want to break it. You have to surround yourself with supportive individuals who you can depend upon for academic help (study groups, phone trees) when needed. Far better to have that than a rat race for the highest grades.

I find when I'm in a class I'm genuinely interested in, I do better. I remember when I finally made the principal's list my junior year of high school. It was awesome.

Keep it up. You ought to have some nice plaques to put on the wall.

Hopefully I get an education that allows me to afford a wall for those plaques.

Are there some cute girls in Alpha Lambda Delta? I always thought the girls that were in honor socities at Augie were some of the most attractive. Oh..right you're engaged. I'll shut up now..

I can appreciate what I see. I just need to not touch the merchandise and be sure to appreciate what I chose a lot more.

And I can do research for others; so, I'll let you know (every girl in the engineering department is either smokin hot or really cute; nothing challenging on the eyes there).
