I was rather shocked when I saw a comerical on TV that was mocking the idea of clean coal technology. I thought, "this must be a joke. Nobody can be this ignorant." I was wrong. There is a organization that is making the statement that there is no such thing as clean coal technology

I saw a tv special in Mexico talking about the coal and oil supply only lasting through November of 2009. They proceeded to present Brazil as a pioneer in clean energy with their use of sugar cane. It can be used as fuel for cars, and apparently all gas stations operate on sugar-based fuel. They are completely self-sufficient and don't need to import fossil fuels for that reason.
