1. Where did you begin 2008?
Passed out on a couch, apparently. Gee, there's a shock!
2. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Stand up comdedy, read Hemingway, invented time travel.
3. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't make any and never do. I'd fail to keep them anyway
4. Were you in school (anytime this year)?
No
5. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Err... A friend's girlfriend (who I've not yet met). And I think a cousin did, maybe.
6. Any new additions to your family?
None. Unless the cousin's kid counts. Bear in mind I've not seen her since the early 90's at best.
7. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
8. Did you know anybody who got married?
*sings* Aaaaalll my friends are getting maaarried.
It seems a few people did. I didn't go to any weddings though, which is probably for the best.
9. What countries did you visit?
The land of Alcoholia. It's a magical place, full of adventure. But they let you export memories.
10. How did you earn your money?
The same way I do every year. By trying to take over the world.
11. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, food and trips to Alcoholia. In that order.
12. Did you have any encounters with the police?
Err... does running (stumbling/being carried) away before they show up count?
13. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
An absence of bullshit.
14. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There aren't a lot I really want to remember.
15. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting back on to a stage, no matter how small.

Thinking of a suitable answer to this question

Not as much as usual. In fact, I got through surprisingly unscathed.
18. Where did you go on holidays/vacation?
Melbourne. It was posibly the best week of the year.
19. What was the best thing you bought?
Jameson. Every bottle.
20. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I think we all did something worth celebrating.
21. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mine, on occasion. Well, maybe not appalled as such. But I disappointed myself a few times.
22. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Indiana Jones & The Dark Knight Returns for fanboy reasons. Quantum of Solace for reasons that seem to have proved unfounded.
23. Did you move anywhere?
I certainly didn't sit still the entire time.

In the same place I lived then.
