Hello! I realized that I read this but never commented. OMG, I loved this-but then I love all of your stuff. I really, really like this universe, btw. I hope you do more with it.

There was so much about this that I loved. As always, you are pitch perfect with the characters. Natalie's reveal about the killer not having enough gas to go kill the mayor of Schenectady...OMG that is freakin' inspired. And Blair's analogy about them being in it for 'the long haul'. LOL.

I think what makes your fics so good is that you nail the characters so well. When you write, I hear Mindy Cohn's voice when I read Nat's dialog. I hear Nancy McKeon's accent (its still kinda there-even after all these years). And I haven't seen the show in ages. But its like you've captured the heart and soul of this show so well that you reach back in and pull genetic race memories of an 80s TV show from my brain. For me, its like watching new episodes.

I loved this story, like usual! I'm glad you are inspired to write more stories in the mayor!Natalie universe, and I hope you continue writing stories in the reporter!Natalie universe.

I also think that once the mayor!Natalie universe has a few more stories, you could possibly do a crossover where somehow reporter Natalie has crossed over into Mayor Natalie's universe and hijinks ensue. Please?
