I saw Thor today. It far exceeded my expectations. Granted, my expectations going in were pretty low, but still this movie blew them away. This is how you do it. I have to confess, I haven't been able to work too much interest in Thor, even with Branagh at the helm. I'll catch up with it on video, but it's not a "gotta see it on the big screen" deal for me.

That's as maybe. I'm just finding it harder and harder to get worked up about big-budget, special effects-driven movies in general. The bigger the movie, the less I'm inclined to seek it out.

That's generally how I go. I originally only went to see it because my dad wanted to. I figured it was going to suck. But I was pleasantly surprised. Oh well, I won't press. I hope you get to see it when it's on DVD though. :)
