CHARACTER NAME: Timothy Hearst
SERIES:
D. Gray-Man.
CANON POINT: Chapter 207, after Klaud Nine brings him back to HQ (with a fever).
AGE: 9
APPEARANCE:
Timothy is a young boy, height 4'8" and weight around 66 lbs. He has long hair pulled back into two ponytails at the back of his head, colored teal. There's also a large, teal-colored jewel buried in the center of his forehead and his eyes are orange (or brown, depending on the splashe page).
PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY: None
PERSONALITY:
Timothy is a stubborn, strong-willed, and rambunctious nine-year old. Thick-headed and tends to act before thinking, he prefers acting like he knows what’s going on even if he may not even have a clue. Like most young boys he tries acting older than he really is and can be very self-assured in his actions, especially when it comes to things he wants and things he aims for accomplishing. He doesn’t think about the consequences of his actions, like those of his thefts, or how they may affect other people unless they begin to directly affect him or those close to him.
He also cares very much for his family at the orphanage. He risked being caught by the law while stealing valuable items to help fund the orphanage and later on risked his own life to save the lives of his surrogate family. Essentially, he is very loyal to those he cares about and although he may act all high and mighty with an ego the size of Texas state 99.9% of the time he has a good heart deep down with good intentions.
Concerning recent events in canon Timothy’s reactions are hidden. From what we have seen, however, it can be implied that while Timothy still holds a somewhat naïve view of this new reality (being an Exorcist) he understands the severity of the situation he’s in. He can’t be a child any longer and realizing that makes him strive to try and be an adult and to be strong, like everyone else. Of course even with this understanding he’s still a child and is secretly terrified of going into battle alone. He is an exorcist so that he can protect his ‘family’ (the orphanage, the Director, Emilia…) because above all else they mean the most to him and he loves them more than anything. When at first he hated his father for forcing him to swallow that jewel (and he still does, sort of) he’s beginning to, just a little, be almost thankful. Without that jewel, without Tsukikami, he would have never been able to help save the orphanage from shutting down (by stealing, but, details). Now in the Order he sees himself better able to protect his family against the Earl’s dark forces no matter how afraid he may be of them.
ABILITIES:
So far Timothy's offense abilities are nadda. Although his synch rate is unknown he can take down (alone) a Level 2 Akuma (which is more than what Allen could take down at the beginning- HAHA, SUCK ON THAT MAIN CHARACTER).
From what is seen in canon he can posses people and Akuma through divine possession. Through possession Timothy is granted all original abilities of the host and when he possesses Akuma they are shape shifted into more childish shaped creatures made purely of innocence. Once he leaves them (the akuma) they disintergrate. He cannot fight anything above a Level 2, but the more he uses Tsukikami the more his synch rate will grow.
Timothy is also quite skilled at stealing.
POSSESSIONS:
Timothy will be carrying (wearing) his Black Order exorcist uniform, candy, some paper and a pen.

ALRIGHT THEN! I see what this is now! Is this your way of tryin’ to get me to lay off all those charges, Supervisor? By tryin’ to throw me out on my own in a strange place? Next you’ll be tellin’ me on this stupid-lookin’ device that I gotta cancel all those fees or else I’m stuck here--
WELL GUESS WHAT~ I’m not gonna to give in to your demands because I can take on anything! Tsukikami and I got everythin’ covered, yeah! Give me your worst, bwuhahaha…!
[Trails off. Waits. Silence.]
…Hey. What gives? This is starting to suck now. I was actually lookin’ forward to showin’ you how great I am, but this is just insultin’!
[Taps the device, this time more obnoxiously.] Hey! Hey, are you listenin’ to me, stupid supervisor?! Don’t just ignore me, I’m an exorcist now!
…HEY!

Timothy stood by a carousel with a dark frown. Arms crossed, it was impossible to believe the boy was anything but annoyed and maybe even aggravated at the current situation. He had shoved the device away in one of his pockets, not bothering to try and attract the attention of the Supervisor anymore. Really, who did they think they were? After all the trouble they went to in getting him to join the Black Order they certainly weren’t earning any brownies points with him for this stunt.
He let out a dramatic and exasperated sigh, kicking at an empty can on the ground. Tsukikami hovered over his shoulder, holding up his chin with a hand.
’What will ya do now?’ Timothy shoved his hands in his pockets in response to that.
“Che! That stupid Supervisor! …” But he didn’t continue from there. In truth, he really didn’t know what he was going to do now. Something did seem a bit off with the situation, but he brushed it off for now. He looked around, ignoring a few stares from pedestrians and stared up at the carousel. Why did he end up here of all places? If the Supervisor wanted to intimidate him into lowering his fees then why not some place a bit more unnerving, like a graveyard or an abandoned building? He frowned heavily again. Tsukikami watched him as he loitered around the carousel. Finally he stopped and threw his hands up in the air.
“Alright! Let’s go, Tsukikami. I ain’t waitin’ around for some old man to realize what a huge mistake this was! When I get back I’ll be sure to give ‘em a lecture he’ll never forget!”
Nodding to himself at this Timothy smiled and started to walk off from the carousel with big, sure steps. It was clear after an hour that he was lost. Timothy made a harsh sound, looking as if soon he would throw a fit. This was insulting! Even if he was just a kid, he still deserved the same amount of respect as the rest of the exorcists working at the Order. Tsukikami, having noticed his frustration spoke up.
’Maybe we should start thinkin’ on a larger scale…’ The apparition trailed off, wondering if the young boy would catch onto his trail of thought. Timothy stared up at the large-scale version of him and tapped his chin in thought. “Ya mean…What exactly? That this wasn’t the old man’s doin’? Then who’s do ya think…” He stopped himself. He had only joined the Order a few days ago, but he was already briefed on what exactly he’d be fighting in the coming years; things that attacked him and the others at the orphanage and a group of people calling themselves Noah. Maybe his arrival here was somehow connected to them?
He frowned heavily and sat his hands on his hips in a defiant sort of posture. “This whole thing’s a bit fishy, but that I don’t think that’s it. I mean, why haven’t they made some sorta move or somethin’?” Huffing he crossed his arms behind his head and started walking again. He continued. “An’ why here of all places? It doesn’t seem all that special to me…even the people look real boring.” Timothy grinned suddenly.
“Ah well! Even if this is some snot-nosed Akuma-thing’s doin’ I’ll just beat ‘em into nothin’ when they finally stop cowering and come out to face me~!” He let out a loud laugh that made Tsukikami sigh, but smile still at the boy’s certainty. Even if he was afraid of those monsters he didn’t show it. He knew he had to be strong so that he could continue to protect his family and friends. He was a solider now, not some wimpy little kid that could be pushed around! He loaded himself on those thoughts and reassured himself that with Tsukikami by his side, Emilia and the Director would never have to relive that incident again.
Priding himself on this mental declaration he walked forward strongly until he walked face first into a metal pole, Tsukikami’s warning a moment too late.
