I had a major nerdgasm yesterday when I heard that Peter Jackson has acquired the film rights to a recent series of historical fantasy novels by a woman called Naomi Novik. Shut up. Live Forever is a cool doco.

I've seen it a few times now and it reminds me of how the music back then seemed much cooler than it really was. 99% of Oasis songs don't stand up to close examination (the 1% is the lyric "All your dreams are made when you're chained to the mirror and the razor blade").

But the best thing is how Noel Gallagher turns out to be a funny geezer. The bit at the end with the S Club hand dancing moves is golden.
