EDIT: Whoops, I left out the important bit - the instructions. Surely it doesn't matter, because everyone will have seen this on about a billion other LJs already, but just in case - leave a comment and I will do the following
( Read more... )
1 - You're living proof that not everyone in Wellington is up their own arse. 2 - Boston - More Than a Feeling / City of Lost Children 3 - I admire your self-confidence. 4 - Not strictly the first memory, chronologically, but it's too good an anecdote to discard: hanging out in a dodgy hotel spa pool containing so much chlorine that your brand new dark blue swimsuit came out pale pink. Why did we all think that was a good idea? 5 - Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins 6 - How are you liking being a (gasp!) divorcee? 7 - That's a bit hard, cos there are lots of good ones. It's a three-way tie between

1 - Because we were friends (in the real-life sense). Now you live in the Waikato, which means I'm contractually obligated to hate you, but I keep you around for the sake of tradition. 2 - The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger (Maybe without the final 'ger' - hur hur!) / Krull 3 - I know someone who has seen you naked. PS - it's not your husband. 4 - Meeting you at a party at Dan's Mt Eden flat. You had been hit by a bus two more times than anyone else I had met up till that point, which impressed me immensely. 5 - Lorelai Gilmore 6 - How many poor geeks' hearts have you broken irreparably (assuming such a thing can still be measured in real numbers)? 7 -

1 - A long time ago, you were one of my favourite people during a time which (I think) was a lot of fun and very memorable for pretty much everyone who was there. That's way in the past now, but it's nice to be reminded of happy times. Also the angst - you do by far the best LJ angst out of anyone I know. 2 - Blink-182 - I Guess This is Growing Up / Empire Records 3 - 'Dinks' is short for Humperdink; for some unfathomable reason, you never seemed to like 'Humpy' nearly as much. 4 - Mumblers. For those not in the know, you probably don't want to be. 5 - Willow Rosenberg. 6 - How can you watch Empire Records without feeling sick? 7 -

1 - We were and are friends - the proper kind, and I probably wouldn't even have an LJ in the first place if you hadn't helped bully and cajole me into it. 2 - Elton John - Daniel / The Story of Ricky 3 - The Consise Oxford Dictionary defines your middle name as, 'v. Brit. vulgar slang (of a man) have sex with.' 4 - Creating a Doctor Who fan video in Myers Park during a NZDWFC video day; I knew you must be cool because you were so obviously more amused than appalled at the damage wrought by Morgan on poor K-9. 5 - Half C3-PO, half Patrick Bateman. I was going to put Sir Didymus, but then I realised that three out of four times I've written a character, only to discover that the person has that character among their userpics; I want to break the mould before it starts looking like my genuine mental associations are spurious. (They're not) 6 - Ever tempted to do another Camp Daniel, for old times' sake? 7 -

1 - Because we're friends in real life! 2 - I've got a theory, that's it's a Demon. A dancing demon! No something isn't right there... (because you played the soundtrack in your car a lot at one stage) 3 - You can imitate perfectly anyone that you set your mind to! 4 - Yeah, I'd have to go with Myers Park as well. You suited a trenchcoat much better than I could ever could. 5 - The Godfather! (the mafia "I'm giving you an offer you can't refuse" type) 6 - Well it's a very recent query, actually - why half C3-PO? ;) 7 - The one with the Giraffe. I think it's the only one?
And in answer to question number six, probably not, because although it would be nice in a nostalgic sense, I think we really only enjoyed the camps because we were all much younger and sillier back then! Plus cleaning up on the last day was always a bitch.
These last two are a bit overdue, because I got a bit stuck on a couple of questions, trying to come up with the absolute perfect answers. Then I realised I was way overthinking it, as this is really about as important as 'What Winnie the Pooh character are you?' So, sorry for the delay.
1 - This question is getting a bit samey. We're friends, duh. 2 - USA for Africa - We Are the World / T.H.A.T. 3 - You looked very nice on Saturday 4 - Bob and Karen 5 - Hermione Granger 6 - Who's your favourite Goodie? 7 -
