Family Time

Teresa and I took Nana out to La Fuente for lunch today. They have a Sunday Brunch and Mariachis Thursday - Sunday, so Nana spent a lot of time talking to the mariachis about the songs that they knew and how she learned them all from her papa when they lived on the ranch. I guess he played the guitar for his (many) children, and taught them to sing

Thanks for the Nana story - it is good to hear from home. Those are the qualities of Nana that I've always admired and have to remind myself sometimes of where I come from...it also explains quite a bit about the grandchildren...

I took Estevan and Kai to a Mariachi restaurant and Estevan requested "la cucuracha" while Kai tried to pretend the guy wasn't there.
