Thinking...
So, I'm having one of those days, where my mind is running along whatever lines it wants and it gets me thinking of a lot of things.
As is pretty usual for me, I had fanfic running in my mind coming up with a new one. Only half a plot and half a story, but it's fun making these little stories even if it'll never get written. As is also common it was an AU SW story and featuring mando'ade. :D I think my mind is reminding me that this is the month where Imperial Commando (the 5. in the Republic Commando series) is being published. Yeah!
While I was thinking up the fanfic story(and making breakfast) I somehow managed to think of GG, too. Appearently thinking in two fandoms at the same time isn't impossible and I ended up with the question; what happened to the Sturmhalten plummers?
I'm really curious here, now that I've started to think about it. They weren't in Sturmhalten when the monsters came and chaos broke out, 'cause they were with the rescue party. But I somehow doesn't think two sewer rats(who are used to dealing with sewer monsters) would die just because a little fight broke out. After all they could have gotten away. Or perhaps they were captured by the Baron's troppers? The question is bugging me now, so I hope I'll get an answer at some point.
A little later I solved the problem of ref pics for costumes. I was thinking about how best to gather and keep ref pics, instead of having to remember where you found them, and have come to the conclusion that saving them and any info about who took the pic to my harddrive, gather pics of one costume in one file, create a photobucket for ref pics and then upload them, so they will be available online, would be the best solution to the ref pic problem.
Of course I'm thinking of this 'cause a friend of mine was talking with me a couple of days ago about doing some upgrades to a new costume and finding good ref pics was a pain in the ***.
I'll start implement this system the next time I go looking for ref pics. (Of is just 'tripping' over some good ones).
While shopping I started meta thinking, (thinking about thinking), which is kinda wierd when you think about it. Which I do. Like I said my mind is running wherever it wants to and no use trying to stop it.
This is me getting into 'problem solving' mode. Practical if there have been things bugging me, since I somehow see things more clearly like this, but getting my mind to focus on just one thing can be difficult. (And I really should be reading that stuff for my portfolio...).
Oh, and I've been thinking about leather work. I want to do some leather work at some time, so my mind was thinking about what kinds of leather I would need for the different things and colors. And amount. But I think there will still be some time before I go out shopping for leather; it's not cheap buying it.
Anyway, this it just some of the things that have been running through my mind today and it's not even five... Now I really should see if there's something I've forgotten for the meeting tonight and for teaching tomorrow. :)
