Okay, so I finally pulled my myself together and uploaded my pics from my computer to my photobucket account. And now the pics I promised: ( Pictures hidden underneath )
Yeah, the snow causes problems, but at least I don't have to go around on my bike anymore until I return to Aalborg after christmas. And just for the record; even with degrees over zero today there's still more snow here at my moms place than there is in those pics. o_O
Me too! :D 'cause that means you're gonna be in my corner of the country again. ;)
Yeah, well, Aalborg didn't really get that much, though we did get the last snowstorm(of course that was after I left the city). Århus got a lot of snow in the first downpour and a little extra while I've been here. Can't wait to see you (and Gina) for New Year. :D
Oh! Aarhus! (Yes, I know I'm spelling it funky, I can't find the right keystrokes for the ascii A.) For some reason I kept thinking you lived in Copenhagen or somewhere closer to Germany. I have other friends up in Aarhus, quaryn_dk and perial, nice people. Quaryn's originally from the US, and she snagged herself a cute Dane for a hubby.
The snow looks lovely. I think Perial mentioned once that it doesn't snow that often in that corner of Europe; I hope it's more pretty than hazardous. It hasn't really snowed here, just a few flakes, a little bit on the ground, nothing even near what you've got. It might, but not before Christmas. We'll be having clear skies, out here near Seattle.
...Just in case I don't chat with you between now and then, Merry Christmas!

P.S. Hyu iz qvite beautiful, dollink! Vit a saber at huy side unt a tall hat on hyu hed, hyu could knock 'em dead--even if hyu vos only tryink to vound dem a little!
He he, well, actually Århus used to be spelled Aarhus before someone decided to change it. :P Can't remember when they changed it, but I think it was sometime in the last century. Lol, Copenhagen? Um, no. The opposite of the country actually. ;) I'm in the nortern part. (Expect for now of course).
Yeah, he's right. We get a snowy christmas every 14 year. (According to statistics anyway). It's been 14 years since the last snowy christmas(covering 90% of the country to count) so we're due for one now. ;) There's always some trouble when the snow arrives, but mostly it's just been cars stuck.
And merry christmas to you! :D Or as we say in danish: glædelig jul.
*hugs back and snuggles a little* Raowr
Vell, tank hyu, dollink. ;D Perhapz Hy schould zee eef dere iz zum gut boyz dot can handle a real jägergorl. Grr. ;) Ov course only vit vun ov my hats to lure dem vith and my svord to knock dem dead.
When I left Århus, most of the snow had melted away, but not all. And here most are still lying around since the nothern parts of DK haven't been getting as high degrees as the more southern/eastern parts. You should see the fjord; quite a sight when an ice cape starts forming. (I should probably see if I can get a pic of that before it disappears).

I think maybe we've had more snow down here than you have, but then we've been almost on the edge of the snowstorm ;)

So... Happy New Year! Since I missed Christmas. Which was quiet and uneventful for me and my family.
