Serena and Dan go on their first date. Jenny impresses in an epic game of truth or dare at Blair's slumber party.

Vanessa returns. Everyone attends the masquerade ball, whether or not they were invited.
1.07 - Victor, Victrola
Chuck purchases a speak-easy and accidentally sabotages Bart/Lily. Blair/Nate break up, and Blair/Chuck share their infamous limo kiss.
1.08 - Seventeen Candles
Chuck pursues Blair at her 17th birthday party. Dan and Jenny's mom returns to Brooklyn. Nate's father is charged with embezzlement.
1.09 - Blair Waldorf Must Pie
With the help of Serena, Blair salvages Thanksgiving after learning Eleanor uninvited her father. Serena and Dan learn about their parents' romantic history when Dan invites the van der Woodsens to dinner.
1.10 - Hi, Society
Serena's grandmother persuades her to attend the cotillion with Carter. Blair sees through Chuck's scheming and reunites with Nate. Jenny misses her mother's opening.
1.11 - Roman Holiday
Blair's attempts to break up her father's relationship during his Christmas visit. Serena and Dan have sex.
1.12 - School Lies
The headmistress attempts to discover who broke into the school pool. Chuck blackmails Blair. Bart and Lily announce their engagement.
1.13 - The Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate
Blair worries that she may be pregnant. Nate is furious when he finds out about Blair/Chuck via Gossip Girl. Serena tells Dan she loves him before stopping Blair from running away to France.
1.14 - The Blair Bitch Project
Jenny shoplifts. Blair schemes to regain her throne but is outwitted by Jenny. Serena mistakenly blames Chuck for a series of off-color gifts from Georgina.
1.15 - Desperately Seeking Serena
Georgina returns. Blair sabotages Nelli Yuki's SATs. Vanessa and Nate get to know each other.
1.16 - All About My Brother
Eric comes out. Jenny's reputation is ruined when she is caught in a lie. Georgina is blackmailing Serena, who tells Blair that she killed someone.
1.17 - Woman on the Verge
Blair, Chuck, and Nate put their grudges aside to help Serena. Georgina pursues Dan. Rufus's band reunites for a gig.
1.18 - Much 'I Do' About Nothing
Dan and Serena break up. Lily and Bart get married. Blair gets rid of Georgina. Chuck and Blair plan a romantic trip, but Chuck gets cold feet at the last minute. Nate's father flees the country.
Season 2
2.01 - Summer Kind of Wonderful
Blair returns from France with an aristocratic boyfriend. Dan wants Serena back. Nate is sleeping with an older woman.
2.02 - Never Been Marcused
Blair hosts a party to impress Lord Marcus's stepmother, but Chuck makes sure that everything goes wrong. Nate discovers his family is bankrupt.
2.03 - The Dark Night
Blair's hosts a back-to-school soiree during a city blackout. Dan and Serena break up in a stuck elevator. Chuck tricks Blair into kissing him when he pretends to be Marcus.
2.04 - The Ex-Files
Serena takes matters into her own hands when the Bitches go too far hazing a new student who seems interested in Dan. Blair and Vanessa blackmail the duchess to help Nate.
2.05 - The Serena Also Rises
Usurped by Serena, Blair desperately schemes to regain her stature, going as far as sabotaging her mother's fashion show. Eleanor takes credit for Jenny's design. Dan experiences a night in the life of Chuck Bass.
2.06 - New Haven Can Wait
Serena sabotages Blair's visit to Yale, but they make up in the end. Chuck is kidnapped by a secret society.

Vanessa blackmails Blair. Blair convinces Chuck to humiliate Vanessa in exchange for sex. Serena refuses to play happy families to impress Bart's business associates. Dan discovers Nate is homeless.

Dan reluctantly advises Blair about her relationship with Chuck. Serena meets artist Aaron Rose. Jenny loses her internship and kisses Nate.
2.09 - There Might Be Blood
Jenny and Agnes throw a guerilla fashion show at Lily's charity gala. Blair and Chuck babysit a Yale donor's daughter.
2.10 - Bonfire of the Vanity
Blair attempts to break up her mother's relationship with Cyrus Rose. Jenny moves out. Dan digs into Bart's past for a story.
2.11 - The Magnificent Archibalds
Serena hides her past from Aaron. Jenny seeks emancipation. Vanessa and Chuck help Nate convince his father to turn himself in.
2.12 - It's a Wonderful Lie
Lily tells Rufus she's leaving Bart. Blair and Chuck bet they can find each other the perfect dates for the Snowflake Ball. Jealous over Nate, Jenny conspires with the Bitches to humiliate Vanessa.
2.13 - O Brother, Where Bart Thou?
Chuck and Lily spar during Bart's funeral. Blair tells Chuck she loves him, but he disappears. Dan and Serena reunite. Rufus finds out the truth about Lily's secret.
2.14 - In The Realm of the Basses
Jack Bass arrives in Manhattan. Blair tries to get into the snobby Colony Club. Chuck's self-destructive behavior escalates. Jenny returns to Constance and stands up to the Bitches.
2.15 - Gone With the Will
Bart's will is read. Jack schemes to oust Chuck as CEO. Blair tells Chuck they're through for good. Dan and Serena are dismayed to discover they share a half-brother. Rufus and Lily look for their child in Boston.
2.16 - You've Got Yale
The students receive their college acceptance letters. Blair plays a trick on a new teacher and is punished. Jack attacks Lily after she and Chuck regain control of Bass Industries.
2.17 - Carnal Knowledge
Blair disappoints her father when she is expelled for sending a false tip to Gossip Girl about a student/teacher affair. Serena and Dan call it quits. Dan and Rachel sleep together. Nate and Vanessa help Chuck look for a mysterious woman.
2.18 - The Age of Dissonance
The students stage a production of "The Age of Innocence." Serena crushes on the director. Dan realizes Rachel isn't who he thought she was. Blair is crushed to learn she won't be attending Yale.
2.19 - The Grandfather
Nate attends the Vanderbilt family reunion and reconciles with his grandfather. Blair's downward spiral continues.
2.20 - Remains of the J
Serena throws Jenny a birthday party. Blair pursues Nate. Vanessa and Chuck hook up to make Blair and Nate jealous. Rufus contemplates selling the art gallery to send Dan to Yale.
2.21 - Seder Anything
Serena returns from her trip to Spain with a husband. Dan is a cater-waiter at Cyrus and Eleanor's Passover seder. Blair and Nate fight after she makes a deal with his grandfather. Chuck apologizes to Jenny.
2.22 - Southern Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Nate is jealous when Blair and Chuck work together to help Serena. Gabriel and Poppy con Serena and Rufus.
2.23 - The Wrath of Con
Georgina helps Serena and Blair get revenge on Gabriel and Poppy. Lily decides to teach Serena a lesson. Nate tells Chuck to stay away from Blair.
2.24 - Valley Girls
Lily flashes back to her troubled teen years in Las Vegas. Chuck makes sure Blair gets the prom of her dreams. Blair and Nate break up.
2.25 - The Goodbye Gossip Girl
Serena attempts to smoke out Gossip Girl. Blair chooses Jenny as her successor. Lily and Rufus get engaged. Nate and Vanessa leave for Europe. Chuck *finally* tells Blair that he loves her.
Season 3
3.01 - Reversals of Fortune
Serena courts the paparazzi in an attempt to get her estranged father's attention. The Humphreys adjust to their new lifestyle. Chuck and Blair play games.
3.02 - The Freshman
Dan adjusts to his newfound popularity while inadvertently playing into Georgina's scheme to make Blair a social outcast at NYU. Serena decides not to attend Brown.
3.03 - The Lost Boy
Georgina pitts Chuck and Blair against each other over an auction. Serena resolves to trust Carter after Blair and Chuck attempt to make him look bad. Vanessa keeps Scott's secret. Dan angers Georgina when he attempts to keep their relationship casual.
3.04 - Dan de Fleurette
Dan Humphrey unknowingly dates Oliva Burke, a famous actress who longs for a normal college experience. Serena finds work as a publicist. Chuck comes to Jenny's aid when Blair intervenes at Constance.
3.05 - Rufus Getting Married
Despite Georgina's schemes, Rufus and Lily are married at an impromptu wedding with all of their children in attendance. The Buckleys cart off Carter Baizen.
3.06 - Enough About Eve
In the midst of Blair and Vanessa's battle over a speaking slot at an important NYU event, Vanessa disappoints her mom, Blair hurts Chuck, and Olivia and Dan's wires get seriously crossed. Nate and Serena engage the Buckleys in a high-stakes poker game to settle Carter's debt, but Nate has ulterior motives.
3.07 - How to Succeed at Bassness
Chuck hires Serena to plan his speakeasy club opening. Blair attempts to help, despite Chuck's wishes, and angers Serena in the process. Olivia is conflicted about faking a celebrity relationship while dating Dan.
3.08 - The Grandfather: Part II
Nate and Vanessa clash when she realizes Tripp Vanderbilt's election day heroism was faked to get him more votes. Blair flaunts a new friend in front of Serena.
3.09 - They Shoot Humphreys, Don't They?
Eric recruits Blair to help him dethrone Jenny by sabotaging her Cotillion escort. Serena and Blair make up, with a push from Nate and Chuck. Dan and Olivia have a threesome with Vanessa.
3.10 - The Last Days of Disco Stick
Blair harangues Dan, Olivia, and Vanessa into participating in a Lady Gaga-inspired take on Snow White. A jealous Olivia insists that Dan is in love with Vanessa. Jenny gets involved with Damien, a dealer, and Serena gets involved with Tripp Vanderbilt, her married boss.
3.11 - The Treasure of Serena Madre
Thanksgiving is awkward for pretty much everybody. Dorota reveals that she's pregnant.
3.12 - The Debarted
Chuck deals with the anniversary of his father's death. Tripp bails on Serena when they're involved in a car accident. Rufus discovers that Lily was with her ex-husband during the summer. Chuck sees a familiar woman at Bart's grave.
3.13 - The Hurt Locket
Chuck wonders if the woman at Bart's grave could be his mother. Nate and Serena start dating. Jenny helps Damien with another drug exchange.
3.14 - The Lady Vanished
Chuck gets to know the woman who claims to be his mother. An estranged Rufus and Lily team up to deal with Jenny and Damien. Dan and Vanessa get together after an ill-advised attempt to date other people. Serena confides in Nate about her father.
3.15 - The Sixteen Year Old Virgin
In the midst of legal troubles, Chuck signs his hotel over to his mother. A concerned Serena recruits Nate to help her break up Damien and Jenny. Dan and Vanessa adjust to dating each other. Damien pressures Jenny for sex.
3.16 - The Empire Strikes Jack
Chuck is betrayed when he discovers his mother has been working with Jack all along, and now his hotel belongs to his uncle. Nate helps Jenny after Agnes roofies her at Eleanor's fashion show. Blair confides in her mother about her unhappiness at NYU and sees hope on the horizon when she meets some admirers from Colombia.
3.17 - Inglorious Bassterds
Blair is conflicted when Jack comes to her with an indecent proposal: a night with him in exchange for the deed to Chuck's hotel. Jenny attempts to sabotage Serena's assassin-themed surprise party for Nate's birthday. Dan and Vanessa clash over a peer review.
3.18 - The UnBlairable Lightness of Being
Chuck throws a wedding for Dorota in an effort to salvage his relationship with Blair, who is devastated by his betrayal. Nate is jealous when Serena meets secretly with Carter, who has discovered her father's whereabouts. Jenny continues her attempts to sabotage Serena's relationship with Nate.
3.19 - Dr. Estranged Love
Jenny does her best to break up Nate and Serena, with a little help from Chuck. Dan finds out he wasn't accepted to Tisch, which causes problems when Vanessa reveals she applied and got in. Chuck attempts to prevent Blair from moving on. Serena is finally reunited with her father, who reveals that Lily is ill.
3.20 - It's a Dad, Dad, Dad World
When William's presence causes problems in Lily and Rufus's marriage, Serena takes her dad's side. Blair is thrilled to learn she's been accepted Columbia, thanks to Chuck's foresight. Vanessa departs to Haiti for a summer internship. Jenny is suspicious of Lily's medication.
3.21 - Ex-Husbands and Wives
Unusual alliances are formed to root out the truth about William van der Woodsen and Lily's illness. Jenny warns William in an attempt to sabotage her father's marriage, with the hope of returning to a normal life in Brooklyn. A heartbroken Serena helps her father escape the police. Chuck gives Blair an ultimatum about their relationship, and she's tempted to accept.
3.22 - Last Tango, Then Paris
Serena breaks up with Nate. Dan's torch for Serena is rekindled, but Georgina shows up pregnant on his doorstep before he can act on his feelings. Chuck and Jenny hit rock-bottom and sleep together, setting into motion a series of events that culminate in Jenny leaving NYC, Blair ending her relationship with Chuck for good and departing for Paris with Serena, and Chuck getting shot in Prague.

When Blair falls for Chuck's ploy and sabotages Jenny's collection, Jenny reveals the truth and leaves Blair and Chuck humiliated. Serena is dismayed to realize she's fallen for her Psychology of Business professor. Nate is suspicious of Juliet.
4.07 - War at the Roses
Dan steals Blair and Chuck's peace treaty and sabotages Blair's twentieth birthday party. Nate chaperones Serena when she worries she won't be able to control herself around Colin.
4.08 -
Blair and Chuck have lots and lots of "meaningless" sex before realizing it's not so meaningless. The Non-Judging Breakfast Club confronts Juliet at the ballet when she and Vanessa try to have her expelled. Nate, Colin, and Dan each take a stand for a very confused Serena.
4.09 - The Witches of Bushwick
Vanessa, Jenny, and Juliet team up to teach Serena a lesson. Dan and Nate insist that Serena choose between them. Blair and Chuck agree go their separate ways, hopeful that fate will reunite them once Blair's achieved her goals.

After Juliet fakes Serena's overdose, Dan helps Serena avoid being checked into Ostroff. Nate convinces his mom to hold off on divorcing his dad. Chuck tells Blair he can't be her friend right now.
4.11 - The Townie
Dan and Blair team up to find Juliet. Everyone is shocked to learn that Lily, not Serena, is responsible for Ben's wrongful incarceration.
