Poll time! I can't decide what book(s) to read next, or what TV show(s) to try now that I've got Netflix, so I figured I'd put it to a vote to get some opinions from you all! (Because I am a super indecisive person lol

In an attempt to be somewhat helpful, I tried to narrow the shows down to one half-hour show and one hour-long show. Though I do highly recommend all the shows on your list that I've seen (everything but Arrow, House of Cards, and White Collar)! They are all some of my favorites :D
For future viewing, I'd also recommend Battlestar Galactica, Better Off Ted, Scrubs, Parenthood, Merlin, The Fosters, Orange is the New Black, Angel (once you watch Buffy or get to the point where Angel spins off at least) and Dollhouse.
Thanks for the recs bb! I have a few of those on my super long to-watch list but a few are definitely new, so I'll add them and check them out! I'm really excited to have Netflix too lol! The most difficult part is deciding what to watch (I can get stuck sometimes if I have too many options and then end up doing nothing, so I'll have to figure that out lol).
I picked Uglies b/c I've never read it and I want to know what you think. It made it pretty far in the EW Best YA Book Ever poll recently.
I love Arrow. It's fun and cracky and overly dramatic. (And if you like shirtless dudes doing ridiculous feats of working out, it's the show for you!) Parks & Rec is a feel-good appertif. I often put it on when I'm feeling low. It's smart and the cast of characters are great.
I used to be a big fan of White Collar, but lately I've been feeling really fed up with the characters, so I can't recommend it until I know if they'll get their acts together.
I'm pretty sure one of my best friends read the Uglies series and really liked it so I've had it on my bookshelf as a to-read for a while now. If I start reading it I'll definitely post my thoughts!
Thanks for all the TV show info! I've heard good things about Arrow and Parks & Rec and have meant to watch those for a while now, and I think I'm definitely going to try doing Parks & Rec since I can fit an episode into my day easily with it being a half-hour show. I've only seen a few episodes of White Collar so far and mostly I enjoy watching Matt Bomer on my screen being a clever sassy person ;) so I may just put that on every once in a while and slowly make progress on it.
I wish I'd kept WC to the earlier seasons when Neal really is just clever and sassy. Now it's all twisted around. White Collar finally came out and said something about Bomer's character that I've been thinking since his antics in season 2. I won't spoil what it is, but hearing it didn't make me happy. But I think it's good it has finally been admitted. Grrr Neal Grrr.
Hmmm, interesting. Sorry it went in that direction though, whatever it was, since it doesn't seem to be a good thing, although I suppose it's good they recognized it. I'll have to see what I think if I ever get that far lol, though it may take me a while since I have a bajillion shows on my to-watch list, which knowing me means I'll probably slowly go through like 5 shows at once and make very, very slow progress :p
