Wow. Slamming your fist into the wall really hurts like a motherfucker. My sympathies to everyone who's ever done that.

Swells up pretty impressively, too.

In other news: more locked down posts and fewer public ones for a while. Sorry, guys. :(

An object in motion, stays in motion until it... stops. Suddenly.
Ooooooouuuuucccccch.
*winces for you*

Ummm, so by now you've probably cold-packed it and everything, but is it ok? You didn't do any permanent damage to it, did you?

I think with the punching-a-wall thing, people secretly aim to hit plasterboard. Because the aim is more, take out frustrations on wall than have the tough, hard & manly concrete/hard stuff pwning you, because it will. I've seen people do the punch/clutch hand in a little bundle on the floor, because that's what it does. I am willing to concede that most walls, at least their hard bits, are harder than me, and pretty much most everyone else. Yep, we're just pansy soft asses in comparison.
I've only punched out a window. And soft stuff.
Because even when I'm angry I'm obviously a wuss.

In other words, corr, you're right 'ard, aren't you?

And. Yeah. Understandable.
But, hey - still good to hear from you, even if I'm erratic in replying, and not nearly as interesting a written conversationalist. :)

Hahah! It wasn't as hardcore as it sounds. I was not dumb enough to aim my itty bitty knuckles into the wall, but instead used the whole side of my fist, using the greater surface area to minimize the... whatever it's called in physics. I mean, I didn't actually rationally think about it, because if I'd thought about it, I wouldn't have done it.

But yeah, it swelled up some, and I iced it, and it hurt for a while, but there was no lasting damage. :)

Excellent stress-reliever.

Wow, punched out a window, huh? :) Never done that. Sharp objects kinda give me the oogs. I'm impressed!
