Having had an urge to do more exploring, seventeen year-old Gellert Grindelwald had "borrowed" Draco's time turner and set about going to random times and places. Al ran down another side street, moving quickly and quietly. He couldn't see James behind him, but that didn't mean he wasn't there, and Al didn't intend to be found by his older brother. Just because James was old enough to do magic outside of Hogwarts did not make him more responsible. Losing his brother should prove that.

He was so busy looking behind that he almost didn't notice the other boy directly in his way, and tripped over his own feet in an effort not to bowl him over.

Gellert caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye and put out a hand instinctively. He attempted to catch the younger boy before he could fall.

"Careful," he said warningly. "Are you all right?"

Al managed to not fall over like a complete clutz, instead landing on his hands and one knee. He shrugged a bit as he stood up. "I'm good, sorry 'bout that" he said, with a grin. "I'm trying to make a clean getaway, but I'm a bit rusty after being away from school all summer."
